Phytoventures Radio
The UK’s first 24/7 radio station dedicated to the medical cannabis community. Music. Talk shows. Patient stories. Live requests. Community voices. Always on. Always free.
A radio station like no other
Today, we’re thrilled to announce Phytoventures Radio — the United Kingdom’s first dedicated 24/7 radio station built entirely for and by the medical cannabis patient community.
This isn’t another playlist. This isn’t a podcast you download and forget. This is live radio — real voices, real music, real conversations — broadcasting around the clock, every single day of the year.
Phytoventures Radio will be free to listen to, with no subscriptions, no paywalls, and no advertisements. It will be accessible via web browser, mobile app, and smart speakers, ensuring every patient can tune in regardless of their device or location.
The station will broadcast a mix of curated music, live talk shows, patient interviews, industry news bulletins, late-night companion programming, and community-submitted content. We’re building the schedule around the real lives of patients — because we know that 3am matters just as much as 3pm.
Because patients deserve more than silence
Medical cannabis patients in the UK face unique challenges that most people never think about. Chronic pain that keeps you awake at night. Anxiety that hits hardest when the world goes quiet. The isolation of managing a condition that’s still misunderstood by much of society.
We’ve spoken to thousands of patients through CannCare and CannConnect. The same themes keep coming up: loneliness, especially at night. A desire for community beyond social media. A need for something that just… understands.
Radio is different from everything else. It’s passive — you don’t need to scroll, type, or engage. You just listen. And knowing that someone is talking, playing music, or sharing a story at the same time you’re listening creates a connection that no algorithm can replicate.
That’s why we’re building this. Not because it’s profitable (it isn’t). Not because it’s easy (it won’t be). But because 8,000+ patients told us they wanted something like this, and we listened.
Programming built around patients.
Every show, every segment, every track — chosen with the community in mind.
The Music Mix
Our flagship continuous music stream. A carefully curated blend of chill, acoustic, feel-good, and ambient music. No ads, no interruptions. Updated weekly by our community music team. Expect everything from lo-fi beats to indie acoustic to classic feel-good tracks. We’ll also feature themed playlists — Mellow Mondays, Feel-Good Fridays, and more.
Patient Talent Spotlight
This is your stage. We’re inviting patients from across the UK to submit their original music, spoken word, poetry, and creative audio. Selected submissions will be featured in dedicated airtime slots, introduced by our presenters, and promoted across our networks. Whether you’re a bedroom producer or a seasoned musician — if you’re a patient, we want to hear you.
The Morning Show
Start your day right. Our flagship morning show (7am–10am) will cover the latest news from the medical cannabis world, patient stories, community updates, and conversations with clinics, advocates, and industry figures. Think of it as your daily briefing — but actually interesting.
Talk Shows & Panels
Regular scheduled talk shows covering the topics that matter most: navigating the prescription system, workplace rights, housing discrimination, driving and cannabis, clinic reviews, product discussions, and open patient Q&A sessions. We’re in talks with multiple patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and legal experts to host regular slots.
Live Requests & Dedications
Call in, message in, or submit online — request your favourite tracks and dedicate songs to friends, family, carers, or fellow patients. Birthday shoutouts, recovery celebrations, or just sending good vibes to someone who needs them. This is community radio at its best.
Patient Diaries
Long-form, intimate interviews with patients sharing their full stories. From first prescription to daily life, from discrimination battles to breakthrough moments. These aren’t soundbites — they’re real, unedited conversations that give voice to experiences too often ignored.
The Night Shift
Our late-night programming (10pm–6am) is designed for patients who can’t sleep. Gentle music, calming voices, sleep stories, guided relaxation segments, and the reassurance that someone is always there. We know the nights can be the hardest. We’re not going anywhere.
Industry Bulletin
Twice-daily news bulletins covering regulatory updates, clinic news, product launches, advocacy developments, and community events. Sourced from our intelligence network and delivered in clear, patient-friendly language. Stay informed without doomscrolling.
